The conversation surrounding this Stoop Series event begins at the intersection of art, digital media, performance and social justice. Join us as we explore how projects utilizing emerging technologies can inspire audiences to action and distill beauty from the thorniest of public dilemmas.
Our evening features composer, artist, performer, and Director of NYU Poly’s Brooklyn Experimental Media Center, R. Luke DuBois; sound artist, and Director of Programs and Residencies at Eyebeam Art + Technology Center, Roddy Schrock; and artist, writer, curator, and researcher Zach Blas, whose work engages technology, queerness, and politics. He is the creator of the art group Queer Technologies, a founding member of The Public School Durham, a contributing editor for the online journal Version, and a resident at Eyebeam in New York City.
